Help us promote healthy lifestyles, opportunities for play and recreation in a fast-paced team environment. We currently have auxiliary opportunities to help maintain effective relationships with patrons, ensure that facility rules and procedures are being followed, and perform various tasks related to the operation of the arenas and/or community recreation programs offered by our Parks, Recreation and Culture department.

You will exercise some independence of judgment and action within established guidelines and refer unusual or complex matters to a Manager or his/her delegate. You are responsible for establishing and maintaining effective public relations and work performance is reviewed by the supervisor for effectiveness of operations and service to the public.

As the ideal candidate you will have:
??? Completed Grade 12
??? Minimum one (1) year of customer service experience
??? Minimum one (1) year skating experience
??? Valid Standard First Aid with CPR-C (infant/child/adult) certificate

Due to the nature of the job, you must be available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and split shifts.

This position is unionized, CUPE Local 774, and the hourly rate of pay is from $13.84 to $16.25 per hour (2015 rate) plus an additional 12% percent in lieu of benefits.
