Job Description: Experience the dynamic working environment of shipping and receiving as a Fire Service Stockroom Clerk 2. The position is a moderate level of clerical and manual work involving the coordination and processing of shipping, receiving, storing of goods and the maintenance of inventory control measures.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will:
???perform shipping, storing and receiving functions according to City practices
???identify obsolete inventory and be responsible for disposal according to accepted practices and procedures
???maintain inventory control measures as required
???maintain accurate manual and computerized inventory records

QUALIFICATIONS
You will have:
???Knowledge of equipment related to the work
???Highly organized and possess manual and electronic record keeping skills
???Good judgment and take initiatives in performing your duties
???Physical strength, agility and stamina to perform the duties of the position

Preferred experience:
???Uniform quality and control
???Janitorial supplies distribution and stocking
???Fire Safety personal protective equipment maintenance and asset tracking

The successful candidate will have:
???Completed Grade 12, supplemented by computer and basic accounting courses
???5 years??? experience in inventory control functions OR
???Demonstrated equivalent combination of related education and experience
???A valid BC Driver???s License with safe driving record is required
