If you are a confident and professional individual interested in leading a dynamic team as the Purchasing Manager then this opportunity is for you. In this Exempt Management position you will report to the Director of Finance and oversee a team of experienced professionals.
You are a strong, decisive leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with elected officials, the public, external agencies and all levels of staff. You have knowledge of purchasing principles, administrative practices and techniques as applied to municipal purchasing. You are able to decisively approve expenditures to ensure the efficient and effective acquisition of supplies and equipment in compliance with applicable legislation, City???s Bylaws and Council Policies.

| Educational Requirements: |
The ideal candidate should have a Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation through the Supply Chain Management Association (SCMA) and five years of progressive experience with a focus on management of the Purchasing function. |
