Build a Future at the City of Surrey SCOPE The Parks, Recreation and Culture Department is currently seeking versatile, creative and energetic individuals to deliver high quality badminton programs for the City of Surrey. The City of Surrey offers Fundamental, Intermediate and Performance level badminton programs. EMPLOYMENT STATUS Non-Union Instructor RESPONSIBILITIES ???Develop lesson plans. ???Deliver quality instructions for all ages and levels. ???Teaching children, youth, and adults to develop the tactical and technical fundamentals of badminton. ???Lead, organize and communicate with customers. ???Motivate and encourage players. QUALIFICATIONS ???A current Emergency First Aid with CPR C and AED. ???Experience with Fundamental level badminton program - badminton knowledge and experience, which is considered an asset. ???Experience with Intermediate and Performance level badminton programs - badminton NCCP level 1 certification asset. ???Previous experience as an instructor asset.
