| Job Description: |
The Mission Leisure Centre is seeking an energetic and motivated individual with excellent customer service and organizational skills to work on a full-time basis as a Facilities Maintenance Worker 3. |
|
| Duties: |
You will perform a variety of tasks related to municipal buildings and facilities including installing and maintaining ice, operating resurfacing and other related equipment, operating the arena refrigeration plant, performing minor maintenance and repair of machines, pumps and filters, performing minor construction, renovation, and maintenance of municipal buildings, ensuring building security and performing janitorial and custodial functions for the ice arena, curling rink, swimming pool area, public and multi-purpose areas. |

| Educational Requirements: |
To be considered for this position, you will be a high school graduate (or equivalent), possess a valid refrigeration operator (RO) certificate of qualification, a building service worker (BSW) certificate, Level 1 Occupational First Aid certificate and a valid Class 5 BC drivers??? license. Pool Operator Level 1 and 2 certifications would be an asset. |

| Skill Requirements: |
You must have the ability to work with minimal supervision. |

| Salary: |
The current hourly rate for this position is $31.91 plus a comprehensive benefit plan upon successful completion of the probationary period including the Municipal Pension Plan (MPP). |

| Additional Information: |
The shift is Wednesday to Saturday from 3:30 pm to 1:00 am (nine-hour shifts). |
