The City of Surrey???s Parks, Recreation & Culture Department is currently accepting applications for outstanding Building Cleaners who are able to work independently during a variety of daytime, evening, late night and weekend shifts. |

| Duties: |
Responsibilities
??? A variety of cleaning tasks in and around dynamic and well-attended Recreation Centres
??? Vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing, hosing and/or dry mopping, polishing
??? Removing spots from floors and furnishings
??? Emptying and cleaning waste receptacles and garbage pails
??? Cleaning washrooms and replenishing supplies
??? Changing lights, maintaining entryways and parking lots
??? Room set up and dismantling for programs and events
??? Other job related duties as assigned |

| Educational Requirements: |
Qualifications
??? Completion of grade 12
??? Completion of a basic Janitorial Cleaning Program
??? WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information system)
??? At least one year of experience in a large public facility
??? An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. |
