The City of Abbotsford???s Innovation, Strategy & Intergovernmental Relations Department is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual with proven skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment to join our team. Reporting to the Manager, Communications and Marketing this position will work alongside our Communications and Marketing department.
This role requires balancing more than one design and online request at a time using a wide range of media, software and online platforms to produce accurate and high-quality work while continuously contributing ideas and design artwork for communication needs.
As the successful candidate will you have the ability to work in multiple online platforms and design software and communicate effectively verbally and in writing; along with good organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadline are essential to be successful in this role.

| Duties: |
As the Marketing & Digital Media Coordinator, you will partner with internal client departments to define their marketing and online objectives and develop online solutions, graphics, and communications campaigns. There is no typical day at the City however your main responsibilities will include updating and approving content and graphics on the City website, city staff Intranet the Abbotsford Airport website, creating communications materials and services for internal and external customers and working on other city marketing projects. |

| Educational Requirements: |
Our ideal candidate will have:
??? Diploma in Marketing or Communications
??? Thorough understanding of Adobe Create Suite Design software, website administration and
HTML.
??? A minimum of two years??? experience in direct operations of a communications and marketing
function, preferably in local government.
