The City of Abbotsford???s Innovation, Strategy & Intergovernmental Relations Department is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual with proven skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment to join our team. Reporting to the Manager, Communications and Marketing this position will work alongside our Communications and Marketing department.
This role requires balancing more than one design request at a time from multiple departments using adobe creative suite. As the successful candidate, you will you have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and have exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize workloads and meet multiple deadlines. |

| Duties: |
As the Marketing & Digital Media Coordinator, you will partner with internal client departments to define their branding and marketing objectives and develop clear, informative graphics, and communications campaigns. There is no typical day at the City however your main responsibilities will include designing communications materials and services for internal and external customers, designing original graphics, internal newsletters and posters, and working on other city marketing projects. |

| Educational Requirements: |
Our ideal candidate will have:
??? Diploma in Marketing or Communications.
??? Strong understanding of Adobe Create Suite Design software.
??? A minimum of two years??? experience in direct operations of a communications and marketing
function, preferably in local government.
